(1) The Deputy Director General (A), Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Azad Bhawan, I.P. Estate, New Delhi on behalf of The President of India, invites pre-qualification from reputed Firms/Contractors having specialization in the similar field for the following work :
Name of work : Interior designing of Azad Bhawan Auditorium;
Approx. Cost : Rs. 95.00 lacs; Period of Completion : 4 Months.
The scope of works includes for the Azad Bhawan Auditorium :-
Auditorium Chairs, Furnishing and False Ceiling (Specialized type like ECOPHON Advantage - A), Flooring (Wooden, Carpet), Acoustical wall panelling, Anutone Fabrico, Sound Soak panelling, Sound & Stage Lighting System, Stage Furnishing and Civil works like Brick work, Sheet Roofing, Making of Steps etc. for the Multipurpose Hall.
(2) Contractors who fulfill the following requirements shall be eligible to apply :-
(i) Should have completed successfully three similar works each costing not less than Rs. 38.00 Lac or have completed two similar works not costing less than Rs. 48.00 Lac or One similar work not costing less than Rs. 76.00 Lac, during the last five years ending last day of the month January 2008.
(ii) Should have an average annual turnover of Rs. 29.00 Lac on similar works during the last 3 financial years.
(iii) Should have not incurred any loss in more than two years during the last 5 financial years and should have a Solvency of Rs. 38.00 Lac as certified by their Bankers.
(3) Application for Pre-qualification duly supported by prescribed annexure should be submitted in a sealed envelope duly superscribed with the Name of work in the office of Deputy Director General (A), Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Azad Bhawan, I.P. Estate, New Delhi on all working day up to 3.00 p.m. 25.01. 2008.
(4) If any information furnished by the applicant is found to be incorrect at any later stage, he shall be liable to be debarred from tendering/taking up the work with Govt. of India. This office reserves the right to verify the particular furnished by the applicant independently.
(5) This office reserves the right to reject any prospective application without assigning any reason and to restrict the list of pre-qualified Contractors to any number deemed suitable by it if too many applications are received satisfying the basic pre-qualification criteria.
(6) Pre-qualification shall be for the entire scope of work. Partial and/ or incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
