Outgoing Cultural Delegations (OCD)
To promote and propagate Indian culture abroad, over a hundred cultural delegations from various parts of India are sent by the Council to different countries of the world, each year.
These delegations, representing India's diverse cultural heritage of dance and music, both classical and folk, ballet, theatre and puppetry, interact with their counterparts abroad to foster friendly ties and generate a better appreciation of each other's traditions.
