Maulana Abul Kalam Azad International Essay Competition

Started in 1989 as an annual event to coincide with the birth centenary of Maulana Azad, this international essay competition is held in Hindi, Urdu and English languages for the citizens of India and SAARC countries. The Competition is intended to provide an opportunity to people to study and appreciate Maulana's ideas and philosophy. From 2002, the Arabic language has also been introduced in the Competition, which becomes international for Hindi, Urdu and Arabic language except English.

The prize consists of a monetary award and a Certificate for I, II and III positions.
